You can rest assured of God’s love for you based on the simple fact that He has created you. In fact His Word states, God is Love.
In some capacity, He has blessed you. Although life is full of experiences and lessons learned, you were created according to His will and according to His purpose. He knew you prior to you even being in your mother’s womb. He created your innermost being, and knows you better than you know yourself. No one is perfect, yet you are both fearfully and wonderfully made. His eyes saw your unformed body and all of your days have been ordained and are written in His book.
Due to His unconditional love, He extends His grace and mercy. God is full of “second chances." Without a doubt, His love is everlasting. He loves us even when we don't love ourselves. Most importantly, because of His love He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have eternal life. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down His life for His friends. In Him, we have a true friend.
God wants a relationship with you and loves you so much that He is jealous over you! If you continue to seek Him in each thankful minute of every day, you will find Him and abide in His love.
Furthermore, everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. He often allows us to experience His love through His people. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. We love because He first loved us. Let us give thanks to the God of Heaven, as His love endures forever.
